TikTok's LA

I randomly had a lot of free time last weekend so I literally typed in “things to do in LA” on TikTok, which I’m now obsessed with after years of mocking it (~the Anna~). Shoutout to my gf for being a good sport but we ended up going to the Gen Z-approved coffee shop Picnic, Korean fragrance-shop-slash-cafe Elorea, Korean-but-desert-themed(?) coffee shop Camel, and another Korean coffee shop called Modu.

Picnic had a line (ew) but the drinks were delish. I never get sugary coffee drinks due to my mild eating disorder but I’d skipped lunch (don’t at me), so I got the spiced matcha—matcha, oat milk, demerara (natural sweetener I’d never heard of), and cinnamon. And my girlfriend got the shakerato—triple espresso, demerara, orange. The spiced match was yum and my girlfriend got cracked out on the shakerato which was fun for me. She said it reminded her of espresso in Italy, where they often put orange on the rim.
